Ultrasonic algae control emits ultrasonic waves that degrade the cell walls of algae. It uses no chemicals. In fact, it reduces the need for chlorine in pools or copper products and other algaecides in ponds. Residential and farm users can purchase here for ponds, swimming pools, dugouts and other personal uses.
The technology has been proven effective to kill algae species in water and wastewater treatment, tailings ponds, stormwater ponds, and in irrigation ponds, large backyard ponds, small reservoirs and swimming pools. It is easy to install for an entire season.

HOW IT WORKS
It eliminates your algae problems by using ultrasonic technology that kills existing algae and controls future algal growth. A submerged ultrasonic transducer is programmed to generate the precise frequency of ultrasonic waves that destroys algae’s cellular functioning and structure.
Depending on site conditions, the expected start-up cycle can show results within two weeks, and kill algae from subsequent blooms in 12 weeks. Following the initial cycle, it will continue to provide 24-hour algae control and reduce pH and TSS levels.
Multiple units can be used in combination to provide complete coverage of large installations.
EASY TO INSTALL AND MAINTAIN
Design the perfect coverage for your water. The ultrasonic algae control device emits ultrasonic waves that “fan out” from the the transducer. Ultrasonic devices rely on a “line of sight” technology. Ultrasonic sound waves will not go around corners or navigate around islands that may be in your body of water but will reflect or bounce off of hard surroundings, such as concrete and large rocks.
The nutrient level, turbidity and shape of the body of water may affect the coverage area. Multiple devices can be installed in your site for 100% coverage. Placement design services are available be either email or phone.
Swimming pools typically do not have the same complexity as natural water bodies, they are smaller with clear lines of sight for full distribution of the ultrasonic waves. The Quattro DB-Blu can be left in water while pool is not in use and safely removed from the water while the pool is in use. Since the product has a 360 degree distribution of waves over 100 meters, the unit can be place in the deep end, near the pool wall for easy management.

It can be at the edge of the water body or can be anchored at the center, allowing for complete coverage of ponds, and private (human-made) waterbodies of all shapes and sizes.
This product is not available nor authorized for use in navigable or fish-bearing water bodies in Canada. ACCWS will not sell ultra-sonic algae control units to retail buyers who have either stocked or naturally occurring fish of any species in their water.

Please be prepared to provide us with accurate dimensions of your water body or an accurate GPS location (from Google Maps) so we can use satellite imagery to determine the dimensions of it.
